Visiting Canada with I-539 H4 Extension Filed

Here is my situation:

Our (my wife, son and myself) H1 stamp is valid till Sep 2023.

My H1B got extended till Sep 2025. We filed I-539 (H4 extension) for my son and wife which is pending for processing. My son ane wife’s I94 is valid till Sep 2023.

We are planning to visit Canada in July 2023. If we travel outside USA when I-539 of my son and wife is pending,

1. What happens to their I-539 application?

2. When we re-enter USA, do they get their new I-94 till Sep 2025?
