SFO Indian Embassy Police clearance photo specification

I have a few questions about the Photo requirements for SFO embassy to get Indian PCC.

  1. Is the 35mmx35mm (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm) photo a mandatory requirement for Personal Particulars Proforma form? Or can we attach a regular passport size photo taken from India?

  2. What is the photo specification for the Miscellaneous Services Application form? Can it be any photo or does it also have to be 35x35mm?

  3. If you did indeed have to take a 35x35mm photo, where did you get it click? Did you get it clicked at a CVS, Walmart etc. location or did you go to an actual photo studio?

Thanks,
Suraj

There is no specific photo requirement unless it is mentioned specially on the miscellaneous form.

You can use the Indian style passport photo (smaller than 2x2 US visa photo).

Or you can get new passport photos from Costco or Sam’s club or Walmart or CVS.
The ones clicked in US stores are 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).

For Indian Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), any photo will work.
