I-94 extension when H4 is approved

Hi All,

I have my H4 extended with EAD filed already and also my husband’s H1B visa extended till next year with renewed I-797 form.

If we cross the border to Canada and come back then when entering can we get I-94 extension for 6 months or more. Providing

  1. Visa stamp is valid until June 2022
  2. H4 Approved I797 until oct 2023
  3. H4 EAD is in process

So basically based on H4 and I-797 firm approval can we get I94 refreshed?
It’s bit urgent can you please help?

Yes you H4 I-94 can be extended at Canada or Mexico border.
