H4 visa in pending status

Hi,

My H1B visa is approved and my daughter is a US CITIZEN but my wife is on H4 visa which is in pending status. I am planning to go for 2 months to India and come back. If in mean time my wife’s visa is still in pending status, then how we three can come back?

What is the reason for hold on H4, is it PP/travel ban? If yes, you need to send email to the consulate with the copy of birth certificate and US passport and let them know that your kid is a US citizen so they can approve the visa.
You dont need NIE as parents of a US citizen.
