My dependents(wife and kids) are currently in India and they have valid H4 visa expiring on June, 2023 from employer A. I am in US and changed my employer to B, Will the current H4 visa of my dependents still valid? And whether they can travel with the same now.
H4 visa has annotation of employer name and petition# in it.
Yes and yes. Visa is independent of employer even if it has employer name on it so as far as it is valid you can travel to the US.
Make sure H4 dependent carry below documents.
Copy of current H1B I-797.
Last three pay stubs for H1B
Employment verification letter for H1B
Marriage certificate, photo album.
H4 valid passport and visa. If visa is in expired passport, carry all passports.
