H4-EAD working after expiration

Hello Anil,

I am in a process of renewing H4 Ead. I have a question whether I can work during renewal process after my H4-EAD expired or I have to quit job? I think USCIS had some notification sometime last year in 2021 about working after H4-EAD expiry.

  1. H4 ead expiring in March 2022
  2. H4 is valid till March 2023

Please provide comments on this,

If you file for EAD renewal before it expires ( timely filed) and your underlying H4 I-94 is valid, you will get 180 days extension for EAD.
