Does H4 Biometric Appointment Letter issue mean H1B is already approved?

Hi All,

I have filed H1 and H4 extension together in Premium processing at Nebraska on 19th April.

I received the H4 Receipt copy on 26th April but my employer is yet to receive the H1 Receipt copy.

Today i received the H4 biometrics letter, does this mean H1 is already approved.

Or they will issue biometrics request even before the H1 Approval.?

H4 Biometric appointment letter is sent irrespective of H1B approval.

Biometric letter issuance does not mean H1B is approved.

Thanks Anil for the quick response. You are right my H1 got approved 3 days after they sent the biometrics request letter for the dependents.

HI All

USCIS received date 6/25
USCIS recipts date(h1/H4) 6/26
H4 and biometric check clear : 6/27
Biomeric letter 6/29
Biometric appointment 7/15.
But No update on H1B status. still showing Case Was Recived.

At this time, we have not heard of any single H4 and H4 EAD Approval after Biometrics from Nebraska.

Hi Anil,
I am not worried about H4. We did not filled H4 EAD.

I am just worried about H1, we filed in premium and its almost 14 days and no updated on that ?
