Conversion of I140 on EB1 Category (L1A Visa) to EB2 Category (H1B visa)

Hi,
I have my I140 approved on EB1 Category when I was on L1A visa, My extension got denied in 2019, so i went back my country. I came on H1B visa with different employer. Can i change my I 140 under EB2 category and continue my GC process?

I-140 is employer specific and so your current employer will need to start the PERM process again however you may be able to port the priority date from the past I-140.
