Change of Employer + Dropbox appointment

Please help with below query:

I took dropbox appointment few months back for March, 2023. I accepted new offer from different employer last week and they are in process of H1B transfer along with H4 extension and H4 EAD renewal application too. My questions are:

  1. Can we use the same dropbox appointment and just fill new DS-160? Will that work?
  2. If by the time we have to travel for our dropbox appointment, if my wife’s H4 extension application is pending with USCIS, will it cause any issues with our Dropbox appointment?

Please help.

Yes, just fill and submit new DS-160 and carry copy of both old and new DS-160 to your appointment.
