CBP officer has updated i-94 on NEW passport at Laredo Bridge 1. is it ok?

I visited mexico as per above information and updated i-94.
but in my case CBP officer has updated i-94 on new passport. is it ok?

I94 on new passport is fine too. No need to worry.

Just one question for you:
Did they ask you to cross border and re-enter US using bridge 1?
Or they issued you new i94 at the CBP office next to Valero gas station?

Your answer will help other people looking for it.

I had shortage of time so I directly went to US bridge 1 (Gateway to America) and didn’t take chance in CBP office.
