I received an email last evening that my passport renewal application has been rejected due to incorrect application type and that my application is being shipped back. I have a couple of questions on how to proceed as it is not clear from their email.
- Will they provide a tracking number for return shipment?
- How do I restart the application? When I try to do it, I get the message that the my passport number is already being used for an existing application? Do I need to cancel? If so, do I need to wait till I receive my application back before cancelling?
