What happens if Indian passport expires but US visa is valid.

  1. Will it initiate deportation?
  2. Is the person out-of-status?
  3. Can the person still continue working in USA?

You should renew the passport as early as possible.

You will not be out of status as long as i94 is valid and you are working as per your H1B approval terms.
