Using dropbox in canada for H1B ext

  1. My current H1B expired in july 2021.
  2. My company has filed for H1B extension and is approved. I have the i797 document.
  3. My last H1B stamping was in Vancouver so I am eligible for dropbox
  4. I have a valid canadian visa to visit canada.
    My question is : Can I come to Canada on my tourist visa and use the drop box to stamp my H1B extension?

You should be as your last stamping was in Canada. Just be aware that it may take from few days to few weeks so prepare to stay longer.

Right but how do we know if the embassy will accept this given the current circumstances? Do you know?
