Starting Business in India while working on H1B in USA

Hi Anil,

Can I start a business in India while I’m in H1B? If yes, how can I file taxes in India?

US immigration law does not allow you to do anything else other than your H1B job while you stay physically in USA.

Now, if you do business in India assuming it all can be managed online or by working remotely, it is difficult to track it down.

You would need to to file both Indian and US income tax. If the income in India is on your name, then you would need to show it on your US tax return as well.

All can be managed online. If I file the tax in company name with my PAN, is there anyway to track it here?

I am not aware of any such tracking as of now.
