My spouse plans to travel with me to the USA this December and she currently holds a B1/B2 visa. Since the duration of getting an H4 visa(although we are trying for it) at this time is higher, I plan to fly her over on B1/B2 visa and then in near future, have her H4 stamped. Are there any known drawbacks? any suggestions are welcome.
Note: I’m aware of getting an NIE and her H4 on time would be an ideal scenario, but if things do not pan out, I plan to fly to Mexico with her to quarantine and then enter the USA. Any suggestion on this plan would be of great help too.
