San Diego i94 Extension Experience at US Mexico border

Hello Anil, I am scheduled to go to San Diego for i94 extension because of passport renewal.
You mentioned in one of your post to “key in” new passport number while paying $6 fee online. When I do, it says my records can’t be verified with new passport number whereas old passport number goes well. Can you advice on this pls?

No issue even with old passport number. Just go ahead and pay the fees.

Hi @Anil_Gupta - Can I get my wife’s(who is on H4 visa) I94 extended using my H1B I797 document at the land border office? Please note that we have filed for I-539 extension, but still awaiting the approval. Thanks in advance.
