My passport is expiring later this year. While filling the form for passport renewal on “Passport Seva” website - Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates, it asks for Reissue reason. I do mention “Validity Expired Within 3 Years/Due To Expire”. But I am not sure if I should click “Change In Existing Personal Particulars” → “Spouse Name”. The reason I am asking is that my current passport was issued when I was unmarried and I am married now. Plus, I am getting my spouse’s name added when I filled the CKGS form.
Can you please help me understand whether I should click “Change In Existing Personal Particulars” → “Spouse Name” in my scenario?
