Part 6 in H4 EAD Application with Pending H4

Hi Team,

In the H4-EAD application when H4 extension is pending, do i need to mention the receipt number under part 6 additional information. I’m already planning to send a copy of receipt notice along with application packet.

Could you please help on this. Should i mention the H4 receipt number in part 6 or just sending a copy should be fine.

Hi Anil,

My H1B is approved and valid till May’2021 and my I140 got approved last week (Aug 2020). My dependent H4 extension is progress and biometric is already taken in July 2020. Please let me know if Can i file my defendant H4 EAD with the current H4 extension or should i have to do new filing for H4 EAD. This is the first time trying to apply for EAD.
