New H4 EAD while H4 is at extension process

  • I have I140 with company A
  • I am working with company B now
  • My H1B is approved and got the I797 on hand with company B
  • My spouse H4 extension was applied November 2020 - receipt received no progress after that
  • Can I apply for H4 EAD with my company A I140 while I am working for company B?
  • Company B also applied Perm, and it is in process I may get I140 in 5 months
  • Do I need to reapply for H4 EAD if I get new I140 from Company B ?
