My L1 A visa I 94 expired and extension is in progress, can i apply I 140 and 485 now?

My I 94 has expired last month and visa extension is in progress. can i submit I 140 and 485 in concurrent filling? where i am in L1 A visa. Please clarify.

You can file i485 if your date is current and you have a legal status (pending extension is a legal status).

Thanks for your response. FYI, I have not yet applied for I 140, you mean to say I can apply both I 140 and 485 together even though my I 94 expired and my visa in the extension process. Please clarify. Appreciate your help.
