Is Fixed Rental Agreement acceptable instead of Month-to-Month Rental Agreement?

Hi, I am collecting documents for my Passport Renewal and currently reside in Chicago.

For the valid US residence proof, I have a fixed lease agreement which started from May’18 and is valid until April’19.
But in the CKGS checklist, I see that it says they need Month-to-Month rental agreement as valid US residence proof.

Is fixed lease agreement accepted by CKGS passport renewal?

I am not sure if there is a difference between these two kinds of leases. Also, is the fixed lease agreement will be acceptable or not.

Please note that I do not have any other utility bill under my name or even US Driving License. Please guide me if the fixed lease document is accepted or not.

CKGS accepts both fixed and month to month lease

CKGS website may have confused you but they mean to say that both fixed lease and month-to-month lease agreements are acceptable.

Thank you so much Anil for such quick response.
