As far as I am aware, India does not allow dual citizenship after one has acquired another country’s citizenship. However, why does passport renewal form on government website ask if one has applied for citizenship in another country? Also, by combining it with the question about already granted does that mean passport will not be renewed if one has applied even if not been granted citizenship of another country?
We don’t know why government form has this question.
