I485 filing - EB3 India

Hi Anil, I am from India, my EB3 priority date is 15-Aug-2010. In October 2020 bulletin, I see that the Date of Filing moved to 01JAN15 am I eligible to file my i485?

Looks like Date of Filing chart cannot be used for October 2020. Hope to get a sense from lawyers if that is truly the case.

I thought with this October’20 bulletin I would be able to just apply for i485 to get the EAD and once the Final action date is current or beyond my filing date I would get my Green card. Corrent me if my understanding is not right.

Yes your assumption is correct. Unfortunately looks like USCIS is not going to consider the DF chart for October 2020. USCIS has done that in the past too.
