My I-94 expired in June 2021 and visa expiry date is june 2023…My husband got L1 approval in August 2021…But now only we realized that L2 extension should be done before I-94 expires…So can we go to Mexico border and get an updated I 94 since my husband got the approval? Or do we need to file an extension right now…Since I-94 already expired is there any chance for denial?
You need to file L2 extension using NPT asap. Consult the immigration lawyer of your employer, they will be able to help.
