Hi I’m on h4 visa and expires in September 2022, when I filed extension employer objected because my I-94 expired last year august 2021, which was not updated lack of knowledge.i traveled to India and came back in march 2021.then immigration wasn’t stamped with current visa date, he stamped accordingly with old visa date which I didn’t notice or I don’t know. Anyway what are my options now please suggest. I had renewed my passport last November should I ask CBP to update my I-94 for new passport or it’s risky ?
