I am on H1b and my wife is on H4 visas. We both are planning to travel to India in first week of December and return back during last week of January. I have H1b visa stamp on my passport but my wife doesn’t. Her visa stamp expired in July 2019 so I believe she will be eligible for dropbox. With the current COVID situation in india, is it possible for her to get a dropbox appointment at Hyderabad consulate in December? I am hearing that an EA is needed stating separation of family but if i’m also in India with her in December, I am not sure if she is eligible for dropbox in December. Since trump’s EO for travel ban ends in December is she eligible for dropbox in January or are there any gotchas?
