H4 EAD application (new) while extension is pending

Hi,
My case:

  1. filed for H4 extension in June 2020. The result for that is still pending because of the delay in Biometrics. (H1 approved)
  2. Filed for another H4 extension in March 2021. (H1 approved)
  3. Gave my biometrics last week.
  4. Now am planning to apply for my H4 EAD while both the cases are pending approval. I am planning to submit I797 receipt of form I539.
    In such a scenario, will H4 EAD application be denied by USCIS because my H4 is still pending approval. Can I go ahead and submit the application?
