Hi, my H1B approved with COS. It approved on September 30, at 07:00 AM. I am on stem opt. I work on W2 and fill the timesheet for pay.

My question is since my H1B approved on September 30 and H1B activates on the next day Oct 1st. Should I fill my timesheet for the September 30th? Should this day count towards my employment? What will be my status on September 30th, will it be F1(stem opt)? if yes, then is it ok to fill the timesheet for September 30th?

The H1B start date matters. If its Oct 1, then your status is H1B from Oct 1.
