H1 + H4 Extension + New H4 EAD in PP - what would be the start date of H4 EAD?

Hello,

I am on H1 and my spouse is on H4 with expiration date of Oct 10, 2019.

My I-140 got approved in Feb 2019.

My employer applied H1 + H4 + H4 EAD(new application) in PP on April 19th 2019. My I-797 got approved on April 29th 2019, H4 and H4 EAD are still in received status with bio-metrics scheduled on 3rd week of May 2019.

Could you please let me know what would be the start date of H4 EAD ? will it be valid from the day of approval or will it have a start date of Oct 11,2019.

Chances are high that H4 EAD will have start date of H1B extention approval which might be Oct 11, 2019.

Thanks for the response. As there is no information on the processing time for H4 and H4 EAD after introduction of bio-metrics, can I file another H4 EAD while the current H4 EAD application is still pending. I do not want to wait till OCT 11, 2019. I will use my old H1-B approval notice to get EAD from now till OCT 10, 2019
