Got EAD/AP combo card before biometric appointment. is it OK to switch to EAD?

Hi Anil,

My Employer filed concurrent I140/I765/I131 on 11/24/2020. Below is my case history status for I765.

December 21, 2020 Card Was Mailed To Me
December 18, 2020 We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
December 17, 2020 We ordered your new card.
November 24, 2020 We received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.

probably I will get card in next 3 to 5 days as they already dispatched it. I didn’t get biometric appointment notice yet. So my Question is that can I start using the EAD card once received? or do I need wait until biometric appointment to be completed?

I received my EAD card today and it says FP not available. Can you please suggest whether I can apply for jobs until the FP notice reaches me and I get it done? Please reply

You should be able to use the EAD card if you want to.
