Evidence of English language ability – dependent applicant(s) over 18

You need to provide evidence of Functional English for each dependent applicant who is 18 years or older at the time this application is lodged.
This can be provided/uploaded to your lodged application up until the time the application is decided by the case officer.

Prove Functional English

  • English Language test score OR
  • Proving that dependent studied Grade 12, College (3 year course) in English language OR
  • Proving that dependent studied College (4 year course) in English language

Attach the proof as shown in the image below. You can give as many proofs as you like. If Engish test result is available, it is sufficient to prove functional English.

No functional English proof provided for dependent?

If you will not be providing evidence a dependent applicant has Functional English, then you will have to pay the second installment of the visa application charge.

This charge will be requested when required by the processing office.
