EB2 to EB3 downgrade- Documents required

Hi Anil,
My husbands PD is June 2013, EB2 and we are thinking of downgrading to EB3.
He is with the same employer now who applied for his perm and I-140. As we understand, for downgrading we need to reapply the I-140 along with 485 filing.

Do, we need the experience letters again for I-140 filing?Can you share us the list of documents needed for I-140 for downgrading with same company? Also I-1485.

Essentially we need list of all the documents we need to start gathering for downgrading. His employer is little slow to respond so we want to do our due diligence before we get delayed further.

Also, one more question he was with same employer(who filed I140) for many years and got a break for maybe 1.5 years in between with another employer(he worked on H4EAD) and now hes back with previous employer(who filed I140). Is there anything to worry about this?

Yes, you will all the documents again that you submitted earlier with i140 application including work experience letters.
