I am filling my DS 160 form for h1b visa interview (COS from F1 to H1B) , I have few questions fot employment section , please guide me how to arrange employment info
history :
current employer : employer A Jan 01 2018 to till Date
(employer B merged in employer A)
previous 1 : employer B Feb 01 2016 to dec 31 2017
previous 2 : employer C from November 05 2015 to Jan 31 2016
march 2014 till may 2015I am not sure what is your confusion.

I have two employment dates for same employer ,
should I use like this
Employer name B : start date 1 and end date 1
start date 2 and end date 2
or
Employer name B : start date 1 and end date 1
start date 2 and end date 2
If the name of the employer is same (it has not changed after merger), you can just write the whole tenure just once.
It is your choice. You can either break it into 2 tenures or write it as one. Does not make any difference as long as you have the paper work to prove it, if questioned.
Empoyer B merged into Employer A , now official name is same as Employer A , in this case i think i have to have two entries , one for empB and one for empA
before Emp A and Emp B < i worked for one employer but different dates , there is small gap between two dates due to RFE for opt extension
If the names are different, then you should write them separately.
