Do I need to apostille POA to get it notarized from Indian Consulate SF

Hi ,
I am Indian passport holder and need to get Indian power of attorney to be notarized from Indian consulate. Do I need apostille power of attorney before sending to Indian consulate of San Francisco?
On website it says no need to apostille if you are Indian passport holder. It is very confusing. So if someone can help?

Hello Anagha Fatale,

Did the SFO consulate mandate Apostille if you have Indian passport for a power of attorney? Did you get the answer? I need to fly and trying to get it done and came across your question (which is exactly my question as well)
