Do i have to get biometric processing for H4 EAD renewal application now?

Hi Anil,

Does form I-539 apply for H4 EAD also.

I have my H4 visa stamped till March 2021 but EAD expiring in sep’19.

Do i have to get biometric processing for H4 EAD renewal application now or only when i apply for H4 extension after march 2021 i will have to do this I539 form.

Please let me know.

H4 EAD is filed using form i-765 and not i-539.

Biometric fees has been added only for form i-539 which is needed for H4 extension application.

If you only need to file H4 EAD, then you do not need to pay for Biometric at this time.

Thanks for your prompt reply. How do i know which service center my H4EAD application should be sent to. Where do i see this information. Is it to be sent to the same service processing center where my husband’s H1B/my H4 was sent. Please advise.
