I am currently employed as a software engineer in H-1B with the current SOC code being 15-1133.
I got a new job offer in Microsoft as Senior Software Engineer but the SOC code under which the LCA has obtained is SOC 15-1132.
I have a US master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and have close to 10 years of experience.
The compensation provided is much higher than Level 4 wages for the Seattle area.
Do you see any issues with the change of Employer petition since the SOC codes vary? Both my current and new jobs are direct employment.

I don’t see any issues eve if the SOC code is changing.
Also, Microsoft has very high rate (99%) of H1B approvals as per latest data shared by USCIS.

Thank you very much, Anil. I really appreciate it.
Also, do you see any issue with the US Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering?
Kind of nervous as planning to move on a receipt.

This cannot be guessed but if you have studied software programming subjects and your new job is in software field, you should be fine.
