BITS WILP MS consideration for AUS PR

Hi All,

I need an advise on my profile for applying for PR:

  1. I have 10 years of IT experience.
  2. My Bachelors is in Information technology (IT), so i think it falls uder 8+
  3. I got trained in SAP at my first organisation and woring on SAP till now .
  4. I had done a work integrated M.S from BITS-Pilani in my second organisation and got my degree as M.S in Software systems with research project.

I make 70 points (incl my spouse’s skill and 8+ work exp points) without my MS degree.
while checking in Points calculator if i add ‘Masters with research’ i can get 5 Extra points,
if I consider the MS degree as its related to my work exp. Will there be a deduction of work exp after PG as well? (PTE overall 70, my voice is not clear (birth speaking problem) so its difficult for me to score more in speaking).For canada and US, BITS MS is being considered, Please suggest Aus considers this MS for - Masters in Research area (+5).

You have to get your MS and other education assessed by ACS. If they recognise it as a research based MS (chances are high), you will get extra points.

Hi Mahesh, Could you confirm whether you have claimed MS from WILP without being deducted from your employment experience? I did my MS via WILP mode hence I have the same doubt.
