Approved I140 with previous employer

Hello !

I have an approved I140 with CompanyA mentioning my current designation, if I switch my job with Company B with a new higher designation , will my I140 be still valid . Or I can only accept any opportunity with the same designation for which my I140 was approved with . This is considering CompanyA doesnot withdraw my I140 .Please advise.

When you change employer, your new employer will have to restart the green card process (PERM → I-140 → I-485). The PERM will be based on the future/green card job position which in most cases is the same as your current job.
You should be able to port your priority date to your new I-140 with employer B.
